SalvageData offers 100 free recovery software for Windows so you can recover simple cases of lost or deleted data from your hard disk or external hard. I wasted 3 days trying to get it to 'salvage' 180gb of data from a hard drive which would not mount. FileSalvage is another useful recovery software you can use to get back accidentally. It works on hard drives, USB keys, Linux disks, Windows drives, Flash cards, scratched. Unfortunately I shelled out the $79 for File Salvage, having read some positive reviews elsewhere. MS-DOS (FAT)/exFAT- Microsoft created both file system versions. FileSalvage restores files that have been accidentally deleted or have become unreadable due to media faults.
